CALL FOR ENTRIES:

The No Reason Short Film Festival 2025 open submission is now open, We are so excited about the new location! This year, NRSFF will take place at Circomedia, Bristol. So don't waste any time—read the following details carefully:

 

1. FILMS must have been completed in 2025. We only accept one film per director.

 

2.  FORMAT must be digital. To submit your film go to www.noreasonshortfilmfestival.com, click “submission” and fill all fields.

 

3. LENGTH of you film must be limited to 5 minutes, including credits.

 

4. OFFICIAL LANGUAGE & SUBTITLES: All films must include English subtitles, regardless of their original language.

5. ANIMATION FILMS will compete for an award only if there are three or more submissions.

 

6. DEADLINE for submissions is 23rd Nov 2025.

 

7. AWARDS will be given to the following categories:

               - Best Performance

               - Best Photography

               - Best Original Idea

               - Best Short Film

               - Best Animation (if applicable)

               - Jury Prize

               - Best No Reason Film (voted by the audience) 

 

8. With your consent we will upload your film to our YouTube account. Otherwise you must send us a trailer of your short before the festival date.

 

9. The participants agree the organisation may display the films in other events connected to No Reason for cultural and for non-profit proposes.

 

10. Selection of short films will be done before the festival event. The number of screened films will depend on the total length of all films.

 

No Reason SFF acquires the right to reproduce the films in other formats including the right to modify, publish, show the films for advertising purposes with the creators credited.
